UP Board 10th results 2021 for over 25 lakh students are expected soon. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) 10th result will likely be declared this week and 12th results are expected by the end of the month. The official websites for UP board results are upresults.nic.in and upmsp.edu.in. This year, as many as 56,03,813 students had registered for UP board exams. These include 29,94,312 students of Class 10 and 26,09,501 of Class 12.

As both UP board 10th and 12th exams were cancelled, students will be evaluated based on their past performances. This year, for Class 10, the UPMSP result 2021 has been prepared based on a 50:50 formula where 50 per cent weightage of marks has been given to Class 9 and the remaining 50 per cent will be from Class 10 pre-board exams.

Usually, the UPMSP declares both Class 10 and Class 12 results on the same day. UP board 10th result 2021 date and time will be known once the official announcement is made.

Candidates can access UP Board results from official websites, upmsp.edu.in, upresults.nic.in, by using their roll numbers. Some private portals, including indiaresults.com and examresults.net will also host the results.

UPMSP Measures To Control Exam Malpractices

Since 2018, the UPMSP has taken stringent measures to control exam malpractices in a state once notorious for cheating cases. Last year, for the first time, the board introduced colour-coded answer sheets to prevent cheating by switching the answer sheets.

How UP Board Controlled Cheating Last Year

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad or UPMSP exams in 2020 were conducted under heavy security measures including the use of 1.9 lakh voice recorders and CCTV cameras to prevent cheating. The UP board had also set up a national-level control centre to monitor India’s largest school board exams.

UP Board Result 2021: Know About E-Marksheet

In 2020, for the first time, the UP Board had decided to issue e-marksheet to students. Due to COVID-19 pandemic it was difficult to print the marksheet, so we have decided to issue e-marksheet to students, UP Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma had said. Later, when the COVID-19 situation improved, the physical copies of marksheets were distributed to students. 

UP Board 12th Result: Last Year’s Pass Percentage

In 2020 UPMSP Class 12 results, 81.96 per cent girls and 68.88 per cent boys had passed.
